Urban Dreams, an award winning nonprofit human service agency located in the heart of the Enterprise Zone area of Des Moines, Iowa, is seeking a part time certified alcohol and substance abuse counselor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Psychology or Human Services degree is strongly encouraged.
- Credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
- Pass drug screening test
- Pass criminal history and abuse registries background checks
DUTIES
Work with clientw in individual and group sessions. Counselors provide clients with support and encouragement in their efforts to change their lives while providing them with tools to live lives free from addiction.
COMPENSATION
Compensation based on education and experience.
