Urban Dreams is honored to announce that we are the new Public Allies operating partner for Iowa. With the addition of this program, Urban Dreams will have the opportunity to help individuals earn an outstanding opportunity to work. This is great news for all of us. However, there is a lot of work to do and we need your help.
Public Allies Iowa is a 10-month long AmeriCorps program dedicated to building stronger communities, supporting nonprofits and helping to train the next generation of nonprofit leaders. We match nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions with full-time paid interns, who we call Allies, to help the organization build its capacity in specific ways to better serve their community.
