LISW, LMFT, or LMHC

Urban Dreams, an award winning nonprofit human service agency located in the heart of the Enterprise Zone area of Des Moines, Iowa, is seeking both full and part time independently licensed mental health professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current LISW, LMFT, or LMHC independent licensure is Required.

The position also requires a valid Iowa driver’s license, auto insurance, a good driving record, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history and checks of the Dependent Adult Abuse, Child Abuse, and Sex Offender registries.

Good oral and written communications skills and computer literacy.

Previous, not necessarily professional, experience with the population served is preferred

DESCRIPTION

The position involves professional supervisory and direct service work. The client population consists of predominantly low income and minority youth and families in an urban setting.

DUTIES

Perform clinical assessments, write treatment plans, review and approve service delivery documentation, work with program staff to ensure high quality of client services, meet monthly with client families, coordinate and lead regularly scheduled supervision meetings with program staff, and perform such other duties as may be required by the Executive Director.

COMPENSATION

Compensation based on education and experience.
